Fun Facts about Foods For Gods

This company emerged initially from my passion for food and the limited availability of proper healthy foods on the market. However, the name Foods For Gods comes from my obsession with Organic Raw Cacao and how this product, along with other health regiments, I was able to improve my mental well-being and reduce the symptoms of brain damage in the temporal and frontal lobes of my brain which affected my cognition and speech, as a result of unimaginable childhood traumas and early childhood malnutrition.

When I discovered the wonder of raw Cacao, the instant mood elevation and mental sharpness I experienced, a level of euphoria I couldn't experience from regular chocolate or coffee, it dawned on me that eating a particular food enabled me to achieve a level of productivity that is super human-like. The laser sharpness and the unlimited energy to accomplish everything I set out to accomplish throughout the day were indeed mind-blowing and, frankly, a little addictive. I decided to research the ingredients of the products I offer, and I became especially fascinated with Cacao. Surprisingly, it is considered the food of the gods from different cultures and religious circles throughout history. When I eat the food of the gods, it is no wonder that I experience an altered state of consciousness and function at a higher mental plan than when I don't. I am thrilled to share this joy and wonder of Foods For Gods with you.

Foods considered “foods of the gods” often have cultural, historical, or mythological significance attached to them, and no other foods are referenced as a food of the gods as much as Cacao. However, there are a few more on the list, which are listed below for your pleasure.

Here are some examples:

1. CACAO, which I’ve already mentioned, is often referred to as the “food of the gods,” The ancient Mayans and Aztecs considered cacao beans a divine gift and used them for sacred rituals. Olmec artefacts reveal reverence to the cacao beans and use them often in ceremonies. Various indigenous cultures in South America, such as the Shipibo-Conibo and the Bribri people, also hold Cacao as a sacred plant. They view Cacao as a spiritual ally and use it in healing ceremonies and ritualistic practices. There are numerous health benefits of Cacao which is what chocolate is made out of to warrant its status as a food of the gods. Moreover, the health benefits of Cacao to the production of testosterone are likely for its association with pleasure, indulgence, and celebration.
